Living in the Wellington and Wairarapa regions for most of my life has meant bringing town, coastal  and country lifestyles together.

Juggling art, business and family over the last 30 years, has made maintaining a steady art practice somewhat challenging.

Inspirations are drawn from colour, daily observations and concepts, all coming together to make a statement within a collective and varied composition.

Having painted big scale and very small scale and different mediums, I have enjoyed in recent time bigger scales again, exploring the new boundaries of that expansion.

My hope is that my art will be considered in its simplicity, an expression of the times we live in and a spur for thinking beyond ourselves.
